BranchOut! STEAM CAMP is Now in Maryland!

Back by popular demand! BranchOut! had a successful STEAM camp last summer at the Pohick Library in Virginia, and we are excited to bring back the same fun and educational program this year to students in Maryland!

BranchOut! x Montgomery County STEAM CAMP is now at Rockville Memorial Library every Sunday morning from 10 AM - 12 PM, from July 9th to August 13th, for six weeks. The MC STEAM CAMP provides 3rd to 8th graders the opportunity to discover their interest in STEM through fun and educational activities such as STEM games, mentoring, or both! This year, our activities include: building the tallest paper towers, creating weight-bearing bridges out of popsicle sticks, mini quiz bowl, jeopardy, physics experiments to introduce basic Newton’s laws, and more!

The goal of our mentors is to help younger students learn and inspire by STEM fields and is free to all participants! Our STEAM activities and tutoring session will be led by our BranchOut! high school student volunteers.
