BranchOut!’s Explorer Magazine Reflects on Global Connections
This just in! The Explorer Magazine is proud to announce the recent publication of its newest installment.
Since its founding in May 2021, The Explorer has produced articles and interviews focusing on issues ranging from coming of age, to local volunteer efforts. Part of The Explorer’s third volume, this digital magazine continues the exploration of multicultural perspectives and global connections. In the Fall Issue, The Explorer shared interviews with students and figures from more than ten countries. In the Winter Issue, the student team looked inward to see what unique perspectives its own members have gained through their upbringing, travel, and personal connections.
A group of driven writers, editors, and designers made up the Explorer School-Year Team, which is now proud to present 6 personal reflections on cross-cultural experiences in the new theme: “One World, Many Cultures.” This volume showcases the similarities and differences between cultures in an effort to expand people’s perspectives and understanding of others. Through personal reflections, the journalists also aim to showcase how multiple cultural connections and experiences can be present in one individual.
